  7. MaxBlogPressPingOptimizer - Saves your wordpress blog from getting tagged as ping spammer by installing this plugin. Really important, to much pinging the same service will block your website as spam which can kill your blog!!!!
  8. ShareThis - Let your visitors share a post/page with others. Supports e-mail and posting to social bookmarking sites. This will drive massive traffic to your blog.
  9. SimpleTags - Allows you to create a list of Technorati tags at the bottom of your post by providing a comma separated list of tags between the [tags] tags. You can use it with any blogging tool/method, not just when you posting from wordpress itself (doesn’t use custom fields). Supports multiple words within tags. Also allows in-post tagging of words by enclosing them in [tag] tags. Works with WYSIWIG editor.
  10. Subscribe To Comments - Allows readers to receive notifications of new comments that are posted to an entry.
  11. TwitterTools - A complete integration between your wordpress blog and Twitter. Bring your tweets into your blog and pass your blog posts to Twitter. My favorite plugin!
  12. Akismet - Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not.

This list of wordpress plugins could be bigger and bigger, but not every plugin is needed. To many plugins causes your blog to load slowly and visitors will go away!
